| Always Bet on Quack by Dogwood Gaming |
Our Quackette table allows players to enjoy one of the duck themed casino games in Always Bet on Quack. Quackette is like roulette, but with a lot more quacking. | Always Bet on Quack Video | Players: 3 or more Submission Type: Other: It is like a high end Dungeons and Dragons table. It is designed to look like a roulette table, but instead of felt it is screens and tablets. At its simplest, it is a table with room for four people to sit around it. | This dev is an games educator, and has reached out a lot about logistics. They will be ready to have people running the table at all times, and are working with a surprising amount of grant resources for the final build.
| Automata by Okay Potato |
Automata is a simulation based on Conway's Game of Life running on the now defunct Microsoft Surface, which is unique touchscreen in the form of a table. By interacting with the screen, placing objects on the screen, or shining lights on the screen, players can influence the simulation and set off cascades of effects. Time and interactions causes the simulation to evolve in dynamic and unexpected ways. |

| Between by Claire Kwong |
Between is a game that uses projection to illuminate the space between two people. Two players sit face to face and hold hands, which creates a geometric shape between them. They move their bodies together to fit outlines on the floor, creating a performance for the audience. The installation consists of a white surface (about 6 by 8 feet) and two cushions for players to sit on. A Kinect captures motion on the floor, and a projector projects video onto it. Both devices are mounted and connected to a laptop running OpenFrameworks. I exhibited this game at MAGFest Indie Arcade last year; if accepted, I can adapt the game more toward arcade-like play based on what I learned from last time. |

Bunny Beats is a MIDI and alt control forward rhythm game experience. Players can play with our Taiko drum controllers or a light up MIDI pad controller. The game runs with 1 or 2 players, with drumsticks and headphones (can run speakers if space allows). | Casket Taxi 3D by running jump |
Casket Taxi 3D is the working title of my arcade car combat racer about being a ghost, possessing a truck, and doing door-to-door graverobbing for lazy necromancers on UnDash, the cadaver delivery app. Defend your cargo from malevolent spirits with auto-firing weaponry that upgrades as you progress. Use it to survive as long as possible as you make deliveries across a Super FX-styled city with randomized secrets and plenty of shortcuts to take when you invariably dematerialize and begin again. Possessing a truck is not precision driving. Players will need to manipulate the game's unique spinner controller to rotate the camera, then press a button to compel their vehicle in that direction. This control scheme produces chaotic, physics-y driving that is balanced out by a fast-paced arcade game loop and satisfying, escalating combat. |

| Distracted Driver Simulator by LeConGames |
Distracted Driver Simulator (DDS) is a high-intensity, short duration game that capitalizes on the untapped niche of fast-paced, chaotic driving games within the indie arcade. We use a combination of traditional and unconventional controls (e.g. a steering wheel, a physical slot machine lever, a real-time drink sensor, and more). Players are forced to interface with this wide variety of controls as they juggle distractions, gambling, and oncoming traffic, all while staying on the road for as long as possible. The player is rewarded for timed survival and managing distractions appropriately. While each run of DDS could theoretically last forever, the ever-increasing intensity makes long-term survival nearly impossible. This pushes the player into an addictive loop of chasing higher scores through improved survival skills, reaction time, and luck. Our team has carefully curated our game's graphics and music to capture a silly, retro vaporwave aesthetic (check out the demo to hear the music!). With several months until MagFest ‘27, our team team plans to further refine our controls, improve durability and reliability (including building spare parts for maintenance), expand our art and sound libraries, and explore presenting the game as an arcade cabinet! Our team aims to deliver a truly one-of-a-kind experience to the MagFest indie arcade, not only for our deep love of MagFest, but to give the attendees an experience that keeps them coming back for just one more drive. |

| FilthBotz ELIMINATION by Morumotto Heavy Manufacturing Consortium, LLC |
FilthBotz ELIMINATION is a clicker game where players choose one of two robots to assist in their cleaning tasks by pressing one of two available buttons. When players press one of the two buttons on the cabinet, it will increase the battery charge for one of the autonomous robots that are being tested against each other, Help-0 or Gloomba. Increased battery charge means faster robot cleaning, resulting in a higher score by the end of mag for the chosen robot. The losing robot, or the one with the lower score by the end of MagFest, will be crushed and have its soul deleted forever. Noted in the video, our cabinet is finished but will look way cooler by Mag time. Also, I will have things available for players to take with them once they have chosen a robot, like a "I helped Help-0", or "Team Gloomba" stickers so that they can rep their team. Thank you for your consideration, this is my first game project that I've ever gotten this far, and I learned a lot about coding and pixel art animation making it! |

| Hold On, New York! by Vedang Lambe |
Hold On, New York! is a two-player alt-ctrl arcade game set in a simulated NYC subway car, where you and a friend grip subway poles and work together to survive the chaos of an NYC commute, dodging subway dancers. Players grip vertical poles mounted on the cabinet and must work together to survive the chaos of an everyday commute. The core gameplay has two mechanics: dodging dancers by leaning forward or backward, and keeping their balance when the train accelerates or decelerates by pulling against the force in the opposite direction. As the game progresses, passengers move faster and the train grows more unpredictable, demanding quick reactions from both players. When players successfully dodge enough passengers, they unlock Dance Mode, a rhythm-based bonus round where the music shifts into full gear, both players follow on-screen arrow prompts, and their characters break into a full dance routine together, racking up combos for a higher score. By blending cooperative strategy and rhythm gameplay, Hold On, New York! captures the absurdity and energy of the subway in away only an arcade cabinet with real Poles can deliver. |

As seen at MAGFest 2026, the MAGFish Tank is a passive/interactive experience where attendees scan their badges to nurture their own, unique, personal lil fish friend. As you visit your fish more, it'll grow, learn new tricks, and tell you more about itself and the tank. Scan with good timing to double your rewards. The tank will also generate convention-wide quests (i.e. scan 50 unique fish in 1 hour, scan 10 badges from previous Super events, scan a banana) which unlock new features and secrets. Installation is just a barcode scanner on a table with a projector behind it, that's all. NEW THIS YEAR: - The fish can be friends with each other. - Adding scheduled events, where the tank will say "fish race at 6pm today" to try and encourage scheduled "everyone-go-see-the-tank" moments - All of the old features, it aint broke y fix it - There will be a lil arg - I will actually coordinate with the badges team to pull more fun info from badge codes (i.e. something special when a badge from a previous year is scanned) |

Overworld is a text-based sandbox RPG (with pretty pictures). The player enters commands and can interact with the world in many interesting ways. They can go on quests, befriend NPCs and animals, read books, and level many different skills. The full game is multiplayer and web-based with mouse and keyboard support, as well as mobile support. I'm submitting a WIP physical proof-of-concept for an "Overworld Terminal". This is a keyboard-only 24/7 setup that comes with a manual, reading lamp, and thermal printer to print the "results" when your character dies. For the final version, I would like to dress up the box and secure the hardware better. The manual will be smaller and contain more pages, as well as guides to NPCs and regions in the current generated world. I'm running an ongoing multiplayer playtest of this game right now. If you'd like to access it, go to this link: https://ovrwld.com/pfJlfkAz (Note: I cannot promise uptime/total stability on this server. | PAIZO, ERGO SUM by Patricio Manriquez |
What if the existence of a video game was inextricably bound to its physical shape? This project presents a video game that escapes its electronic boundaries and exists neither in the digital nor the physical, but in the intersection of the two: a collection of digital works that come alive on a sculpture that is both expression and obstacle. Through the use of Computer Vision, Projection and Alt-control, this liminal playful space is brought into existence, and the game character finally finds their context on the physical tower-like sculpture that provides the game level. The player, by rotating the tower using a handwheel connected to a mechanism, traverses the space horizontally, while a button makes the character jump in order to reach higher floors of this tower and escape. |

| Six Minutes of Sizzling Pizza III by Software, Magic & Rainbows |
This game was made to feature a song I wrote for the Steel Samurai album Turnabout Memories and was displayed with the new album at Game Over Baltimore. People played it for most of the event and beat all my high scores. I forgot to make a video at the event but included a link to a video of me playing it while I was making it. I plan on making improvements to it and sharing it at BitGen and MAGLabs over the next few months. I will also have a new game and cabinet for the next album by the time MAGFest 2027 is happening. |

Trance resource race is a zero gravity racing game. This game aims for more of a sim like experience, requiring the player to sit in a chair and use pedals, joysticks, and a shifter to operate their ship. This game is still a work in progress as mentioned in the video but we have the core mechanics working with our control scheme. The cab dimension is based off an astro city cab to give an idea of the footprint. | Trance Resource Race Video | Players: 1 Submission Type: Arcade Cabinet (free-standing)

| Turbo Tracer by Xtinguish Games |
Turbo Tracer is a game that combines arcade wheel racing with frantic sketching. The player or player team control a car on a continuously generating track using a steering wheel and foot pedals, and draw pad, with the goal of scoring as many points as possible in the allotted time. They are periodically prompted to sketch something on the nearby draw pad. When drawing on the draw pad, the road is affected in real time, with drawn movements changing the direction and alignment of the road. Drawing a good sketch rewards more points and bonus time to keep driving. The user can also gain points by running into checkpoints which generate special parts of road. Those special roads can affect how the steering wheel behaves or can add special parts of track. | Turbo Tracer Video | Players: 2 Submission Type: Other small installation (3' or 6' categories, self-contained other than optional folding table) | Standalone racing controllers are a lil scary, but there is demand for car games Tablet will require a solution to keep people from wandering off with it |

| VolleyBird by ValleyBirds |
Welcome to the wonderful world of VolleyBird! The only sport that pits pairs of ribbon-carrying birds against each other in a bouncy, physics-based battle to three points. VolleyBird is a 1v1 or 2v2 arcade game where each player controls two birds with a springy ribbon stretched between them. This ribbon is used to catch and fling an egg (the ball) over a net. The birds are controlled individually with a joystick each, so the arcade machine is custom built so that each player has two joysticks. |

| X-Tinguish by Xtinguish Games |
X-tinguish: Aim at Base of Fire is a lightgun arcade-styled game about stopping your house from burning down. The player wields our X-tinguish-r controller built out of a real (empty & disarmed) fire extinguisher to put out the fires within the game’s house. By aiming the controller’s nozzle towards the in-game fires and then squeezing the controller’s back trigger, you can spray foam out and extinguish the fires. Once all the fires in an area are out or the player runs out of time, they are moved to the next area to continue fighting the fire. If the player fails to put out all of the fires in time, or the house takes too much damage from the fire, the game is over. Each playthrough has a score calculated by the amount of time taken and fires extinguished, where correctly pointing at the base of a fire to extinguish it awards more points. The game is designed to be short and fast paced to encourage multiple playthroughs for better scores. We're planning some updates to the gameplay and level design for this new year, but we don't have anything to show yet unfortunately. | X-Tinguish Video | Players: 1 Submission Type: Monitor and your controller setup (to be set up on a table) | (Returning from 2026)
